OUR SERVICES
Section 1 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 provides that every employer is required to give each employee a written statement of employment particulars from day one.
Employers can outline company policies, job roles, and expectations clearly, reducing the risk of misunderstandings or disputes.
The contract can specify specific terms such as flexible hours, it may limit an employee's ability to take on different tasks or shift job roles easily, specify the location of work. It can also permit variation of terms and lay-offs in the event of a downturn of work.
Our template contract of employment is just that, a template. It will always need to be adapted to suit the particular needs of the employer and the employee.
Please seek advice if you are intending to replace your old contracts to ensure you are not changing terms without the consent of your employees.
As the law changes, come back to us for updates or we can keep you in the know!
